RLEP promotes environmental public education, advocates for good community planning, and defends the quality of Rappahannock County environment. You can be involved in these activities in a number of ways -
Become a member - our members receive periodic updates on environmental news and issues in the county, invitations to social events organized by RLEP and partners, you may attend monthly Board meetings (at the Library) and are also invited to the annual meeting and social event. Members may also volunteer and in some cases lead volunteer efforts. Membership is $25 a year per family.

Donate - Your donation is welcome and includes periodic updates on environmental news and issues. Generous donations by individuals and businesses keep RLEP a vibrant and active organization. RLEP uses these donations for various activities including supporting a Vesuvius summer camp student, to develop materials for educational purposes and for some necessary administrative costs. You are also welcome to make a donation for a specific activity that is supported by the Board.

Volunteer - Your volunteer assistance in helping with RLEP's many activities is eagerly sought. We currently have a number of opportunities for volunteers.

- SCBI, the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute, in Front Royal is conducting a study to count tick populations and identify the ticks carrying lyme disease. Purchase Merchandise - Our Cafepress store offers a variety of goods, the proceeds from which help RLEP.
Contribute - The Natural Treasures of Rappahannock website welcomes contributions from you in the form of stories, pictures and histories on plants, wildlife, scenes and conservationists of the county. You are also invited to join the RLEP Facebook page to connect with other members and environmental information.
Attend a Meeting - The RLEP Board meets on the 3rd Monday of the month at the Rapphannock Library. Members are able to attend these meetings.
