ALTERNATIVE ENERGY PROJECT

RLEP organizes first Piedmont Alternative Energy Expo®

RLEP is organizing the first annual Piedmont Alternative Energy Expo, which will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2006, near Warrenton, Virginia [map].

The Expo will provide the latest information on energy technologies that take the nation away from dependence on fossil fuels for use in buildings and motor vehicles.

On display will be solar photovoltaic panels, water heating systems, biodiesel and vegetable diesel, electronic toys that run on solar energy, hybrid automobiles, and much more, and—most important—experts to explain the technologies.

The Expo will be advertised to the general public, and students and teachers from schools in ten nearby counties have been invited to attend and learn about alternative energy choices.

The Expo will take place at the Fauquier County Fairgrounds, 6209 Old Auburn Rd, Warrenton, Virginia, just outside the town. (Click here for fairground information.) The Expo will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with ample free parking available. Food vendors will also be on site during Expo hours.

Prospective exhibitors are invited to register for this event as soon as possible. To register, please download, fill out, and return the form [click here] with the appropriate fees. Please note that fees are waived for schools and non-profit organizations.

We will post exhibitor's information as it is received on this website. Click here for the details, photos, and links.
