Cyberspace Dreaming. . .
by Kathy Poush, Spring 2005
We are happy to report that visits to this website are growing steadily. From its initiation in mid-2004 to the end of the calendar year, the website received almost 11,000 page views in more than 4,000 unique visits. The pages most often viewed were the RLEP home page, followed by the Calendar, Current Issues, Programs and Initiatives, Living Green, and Photo Gallery.
The most popular articles were those about mountain lions, Clevenger's Corner, cell towers, the lighting ordinance, Page county trash trucks, the Krebser fund, native plants, the comprehensive plan, and alternative energy sources. Everything on the website but archived articles was viewed at least 60 times.
Although most website visitors were located in the United States, viewers logged on from as far away as Australia, the Netherlands, Japan, and Argentina and other parts of the world. About 200 viewers found our site through Google searches.
We're updating the website weekly or as often as needed. In 2005, we plan to add many new articles and features.
RLEP members are strongly encouraged to contact us at mail@RLEP.org with suggestions or requests for additions to the website. Your contributions and ideas will keep the site relevant and useful!
